چکیده

Following the experimental discovery of the superdeformed(SD) band in Zn, we calculate several low-lying SD bands in neutron-deficient 30Zn isotopes using Relativistic Mean Field model. For comparison, we also perform nonrelativistic Skyrme-Hartree-Fock calculation of the SD bands in Zn. Both models give somewhat smaller moments of inertia than the observed ones, but we can see some qualitative differences in the results of these two models, which seem to be coming from the difference of the order of single-particle levels through that in the equilibrium deformation.

Relativistic Mean Field Description of Nuclear Collective Rotation −the Superdeformed Rotational Bands in the A∼60 Mass Region−

Relativistic Mean Field Theory is applied to the description of rotating nuclei. Since the previous formulation of Munich group was based on a special relativistic transformation property of the spinor fields, we reformulate in a fully covariant manner using tetrad formalism. The numerical calculations are performed for 3 zinc isotopes, including the newly discovered superdeformed band in Zn wh...

Non-Relativistic Limit of Neutron Beta-Decay Cross-Section in the Presence of Strong Magnetic Field

One of the most important reactions of the URCA that lead to the cooling of a neutron star, is neutron beta-decay ( ). In this research, the energy spectra and wave functions of massive fermions taking into account the Anomalous Magnetic Moment (AMM) in the presence of a strong changed magnetic field are calculated. For this purpose, the Dirac-Pauli equation for charged and neutral fermions is ...

Superdeformations in Relativistic and Non-Relativistic Mean Field Theories

The applications of the extensions of relativistic mean field (RMF) theory to the rotating frame, such as cranked relativistic mean field (CRMF) theory and cranked relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov (CRHB) theory, for the description of superdeformed bands in the A ∼ 60, 140 − 150 and 190 mass regions are overviewed and compared briefly with the results obtained in non-relativistic mean field theo...

Relativistic Mean Field Theory in Rotating Frame: Single-particle Properties at Superdeformation

Single-particle properties at superdeformation are investigated within the Cranked Relativistic Mean Field (CRMF) theory on the example of superdeformed rotational bands observed in the A ∼ 140− 150 mass region. Applying the effective alignment approach it is shown that CRMF theory provides a reasonable description of the alignment properties of the single-particle orbitals. The agreement with ...
